Sponsoring CaregiverCON 2024
Rob is a proud sponsor of CaregiverCON 2024, a conference designed to support caregivers of all backgrounds by providing resources, workshops, and community connections. This year’s event will be held in Minneapolis on November 2, 2024, and is designed to give caregivers the tools and emotional support they need to thrive.
Rob has been working tirelessly on CaregiverCON since November 2023, with the goal of expanding its reach and impact. The conference is the result of strategic planning by Jack’s Caregiver Coalition, where Rob serves on the Board, to raise awareness and serve more caregivers.
Why CaregiverCON Matters:
- Provides resources and education to empower caregivers.
- Creates a supportive community where caregivers can share experiences and solutions.
- Highlights the critical role caregivers play and how to balance this responsibility.
Join us for an enriching day, learn how to better care for yourself and others, and be part of a movement dedicated to supporting caregivers nationwide.
Jack's Caregiver Coalition
Rob joined Jack’s Caregiver Coalition in 2019, an organization dedicated to helping male caregivers navigate their caregiving responsibilities. Jack’s offers community support, shared experiences, and practical tools that help men overcome the unique challenges they face as caregivers.
Now, as a Board Member since 2023, Rob is actively involved in shaping Jack’s future. One of the coalition’s biggest goals is to expand its impact by reaching more caregivers and raising awareness about the importance of their role. Jack’s Caregiver Coalition provides valuable resources that empower male caregivers to take better care of both themselves and their loved ones.
Learn More about Jack’s Mission:
- Supporting male caregivers by building a strong community of men facing similar challenges.
- Offering practical resources and emotional support to help caregivers manage their responsibilities.
- Driving awareness to ensure no caregiver feels alone in their journey.
Rob's Personal Journey as a Caregiver
Rob’s caregiving journey began in 2015 when his wife was diagnosed with Stage 4 MBC. As a devoted husband and father, Rob understands firsthand the physical, emotional, and mental toll caregiving can take. His experience has driven his passion for helping others who find themselves in similar roles.
Joining Jack’s Caregiver Coalition in 2019 provided Rob with a supportive community of other male caregivers. By 2023, Rob took on a leadership role as a Board Member, helping to steer the coalition's strategic goals, including organizing CaregiverCON 2024.
Why Rob Cares:
- Caregiving is a personal and transformative journey.
- Through Jack’s and CaregiverCON, Rob aims to create spaces where caregivers can find the resources, support, and encouragement they need to thrive.
- His mission is to ensure caregivers—especially male caregivers—are not overlooked and are given the tools to succeed.
